Background[]
Hanna was born to Lucia and Graham sometime before the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak. The family lived in Salt Lake City, Utah.
When the outbreak occurred, Graham and Hanna were separated from Lucia, being quarantined in a different zone across the country. As the phones lines were no longer working, Graham wrote a letter for Lucia, telling her how he and Hanna missed her and hoped she was safe. He remarked how Hanna had been rather calm and mature throughout the crisis and had even comforted him in Lucia's absence. He noted how proud he was of her. Reportedly, the military would take around two weeks to deliver the letter. However, the letter never left the city.[1]
Events of The Last of Us Part I[]
While roaming through Salt Lake City, Joel Miller can find Graham's note to Lucia which mentions Hanna.[2]
