Simon Vickers was a minor character in The Last of Us Part II.[1]
Biography[]
Background and early life[]
Simon lived with his pregnant wife Paige in Seattle. He often made jokes that his wife thought were of poor quality.[2]
Post-outbreak[]
After the outbreak of the Cordyceps brain infection, Simon hid with Paige at the Pike and Convention Conference Center. However, Paige was heavily pregnant and contracted a fever. Fearing she would die, Simon left to travel to Lakehill Seattle Hospital to find medicine. He succeeded but, while on his way back, a Seraphite patrol attacked and shot him with an arrow. As he started to bleed out, he found an apartment building near Pilgrim Park and locked himself in a room on the third floor.
Feeling himself fading, he wrote a final note for whoever found his corpse to read. He wrote a plea for them to find his wife and give her the medicine he stole, asked her to not name the child after him, even if it turned out to be a boy, and that he died peacefully.[2]
Events of The Last of Us Part II[]
In 2038, Ellie can find Simon's note on her second day in Seattle while en route to the hospital to find Nora Harris. She can also take the medicine from his corpse, commenting that she needs it more than he or his wife do.[1]
