Pam was a character in The Last of Us Part I, mentioned in an artifact which Joel can find. She was a FEDRA soldier in the Pittsburgh QZ.[1]

Background[]
Little is known about Pam before the outbreak of the Cordyceps brain infection except that she joined the military at some point and served under Captain Mastros in the Pittsburgh quarantine zone. In time, the residents in Pittsburgh grew aggressive, believing the military were hoarding food for themselves as rations became less frequent.[1]
Pam was stationed with Jeremy to defend Troy Hill. However, several civilians managed to steal weapons and guns and used them to launch a vicious attack on the hill. They also stole a mortar launcher, and then used those weapons to swiftly defeat Pam and her squad, killing at least half of them. The soldiers attempted to escape across the river, but Jeremy and Pam were cut off. The pair did not make it across and were left to fend for themselves against the rioting civilians.[2]
Events of The Last of Us Part I[]
In 2033, Joel can find a FEDRA notepad left by a soldier in Pam's squad recounting what happened to the woman while traveling through Pittsburgh.[1]
