Logan was born and raised by an unnamed male survivor and was a brother to Andrew and Ori. Sometime after the outbreak of the Cordyceps brain infection, Logan and his family made their way to Santa Barbara. However, they came under attack from the Rattlers in the area and Logan and his siblings were killed.
Their father managed to evade capture but was ultimately cornered in a house. Not wishing to become a slave to them, he killed himself in the hope he would be reunited with Logan and his other children in the afterlife.[1]
