Ori was born and raised by an unnamed male survivor and was a brother to Andrew and Logan. Sometime after the outbreak of the Cordyceps brain infection, Logan and his family made their way to Santa Barbara. However, they came under attack from the Rattlers in the area and the group killed Ori and his siblings.
Their father managed to evade capture by the Rattlers but was ultimately cornered in a house. Not wishing to become a slave to them, he killed himself in the hope he would be reunited with Ori and his other sons in the afterlife.[1]
