Alfie was a minor character in The Last of Us Part II.[1]
Biography[]
Alfie was a dog that Yolanda owned while serving in the United States military under FEDRA control at the Seattle quarantine zone sometime after the outbreak of the Cordyceps brain infection. The pair lived in Hillcrest and Alfie was loved by Sofia Legasov. After the Washington Liberation Front (WLF) overthrew FEDRA and the military's control over the city, Yolanda left Alfie in Boris Legasov's care as she fled to avoid capture by the militia.[2]
However, Boris was unable to care for Alfie after the WLF killed Sofia for protesting against their rule in Hillcrest, the man setting the dog free so he could focus on killing the WLF soldiers responsible for killing Sofia.[3]

Ellie can find Yolanda's note and Boris' notes mentioning Alfie while searching for Tommy Miller in Hillcrest.[1]
