Background[]
Foster lived in Seattle. After the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, Foster grew discontent with FEDRA's rule over the city and joined the Washington Liberation Front to fight against them. After defeating FEDRA, Foster turned to fighting the Seraphites alongside the rest of the WLF under their leader, Isaac Dixon.[2]
By April, 2038, Foster was now a sergeant within the WLF. They were in charge of interrogating Seraphite prisoners for information regarding their island. After interrogating one prisoner, dubbed #74, for three days, Foster learned the island's southern side was the most suitable to attack. Pleased, Foster wrote a report for Isaac, and sent out a scouting team to confirm invading the island from the southern side would prove successful. However, Foster believed #74 was still withholding information so request Isaac to let him interrogate the prisoner for a few more days.[1]

In 2038, Abby Anderson finds Foster's note while walking to meet Isaac at the FOB.[2]
