Officer Jones is a character mentioned in The Last of Us Part I.[1] They were a police officer in the town of Lincoln, Massachusetts that assisted with the evacuation order issued by FEDRA.[2]

At some point before the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, Jones became a police officer in the town of Lincoln, Massachusetts. Weeks after the outbreak on October 15th, Jones visited a house near Lincoln High School, informing the father of the household that they must evacuate to the nearby quarantine zone. Jones' visit was chronicled in the diary of the father's son.[2]
Events of The Last of Us Part I[]
During the summer of 2033, Joel can find the boy's diary that mentions Jones while making his way to the crashed military truck at Lincoln High School with Ellie and Bill.[1]
