Background[]
Sometime before the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, Graham married Lucia and had a daughter, Hanna. The family lived in Salt Lake City, Utah.
When the outbreak occurred, Graham and Hanna was separated from Lucia, being quarantined in a different zone across the country. As the phones lines were no longer working, Graham wrote a letter for Lucia, telling her how he and Hanna missed her and hoped she was safe. He remarked how Hanna had comforted him in Lucia's absence and he was proud of how he and Lucia had raised her. He finished the letter wishing to hear from Lucia soon. Apparently, the military would take around two weeks to deliver the letter. However, the letter never left the city.[1]

While roaming through Salt Lake City, Joel Miller can find Graham's note to Lucia.[2]
