Sally was a character mentioned in The Last of Us Part II. She was a Washington Liberation Front (WLF) soldier in Seattle, serving as a guard to the Seraphites Prophet.[1]

Biography[]

Sally served as a soldier in the WLF. She worked with Cam and Lewis. Sally and Cam worked in different units, with Cam stationed at SoundView Stadium while Sally was based at an outpost near the forward operating base (FOB). After the WLF captured the Seraphites' Prophet, Sally was one of the soldiers made to guard her. Unlike the other soldiers, she took time to speak openly and civilly with the Prophet. She listened to her words about the war and the supposed vision she had concerning the need to restore balance to the world by abandoning technology and living an egalitarian life instead. Sally came to understand the Prophet and believed what she said was logical and something to follow.

However, Lewis disagreed with her, continuing to verbally insult the Prophet and began interrupting Sally's talks with her. However, these actions only cemented Sally's belief that the Prophet was not as mentally unstable or maniacal as the WLF claimed. If anything, she only admired her more for resisting Lewis' and the other guards' insults. She expressed disappointment to Cam in a note concerning the Prophet, irritated the WLF were discussing moving her from her current cell and potentially executing her.[1]

However, Sally's note never reached Cam as the outpost was soon attacked after the Prophet's execution. The Seraphites took control over the area, forcing the WLF out. They transformed the area into a shrine for the Prophet, dubbing it "Martyr's Gate".[2]
