William is a character mentioned in The Last of Us Part II. He is a resident of Jackson and works as a patrolman for the community under Maria Miller's leadership.[1]
Biography[]
William has lived in Jackson since at least 2035. To combat the growing threat of infected hordes, William joined the community's patrolmen to find and eliminate infected in the surrounding area. William tended to patrol the Mountain View lodge and the Elk Creek trails.[2] He tended to switch partners when on patrol, pairing with Jesse, Mike, Tony and Greg.[1]
Despite having joined patrolling in 2035, he only patrolled a few times in this time period, and when he did, tended to not encounter any infected. The one time he did was with Greg on May 19th, 2035. Even then, the pair did not engage the infected they scouted, merely confirming that Joel Miller and Tommy Miller had been successful in killing most of an infected horde that had gathered in the area and that the stragglers were wandering away from Jackson.[2] Although, he was scheduled to patrol Wilson Valley with Tony on March 3rd, 2038.[1]
