Horace lived in Seattle, Washington. After the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, he began needing supplies to survive in the city's quarantine zone. He was recommended by an associate to trade supplies with another survivor in the zone named Erin, who could provide him flour, cigarettes, salt, canned fruit, toothpaste, tampons, and spices. He also wanted the ammunition she stocked as well.[1]
