Background[]
Eddie lived in Seattle. After the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, Eddie grew discontent living under FEDRA's control in the quarantine zone and decided to join the Washington Liberation Front to fight against them. After defeating FEDRA, Eddie served in the war against the Seraphites. He fought alongside another WLF soldier, Matt.
The two sides eventually reached a truce but this broke down. Matt, panicked, penned a note to Eddie hoping the man was okay and revealing they had been reassigned back to SoundView Stadium to plot a counterattack on the Seraphites. However, Eddie never found the note and Matt sent out two search parties to find Eddie, fearing he had been one of the casualties in the Seraphites' recent attacks.[2]
Events of The Last of Us Part II[]
In 2038, Abby Anderson finds Matt's note for Eddie while out on patrol with Manny Alvarez and Mel.[1]
