Sometime after Outbreak Day, Jenny encountered and lived with Pat. She cared for Pat's mother in their absence when Pat decided to join the Rattlers in Santa Barbara to earn food for their family, while also preventing the Rattlers from enslaving them.[1]
Events of The Last of Us Part II[]
Pat wrote to Jenny in a letter accompanied by a share of food they obtained for capturing more prisoners for the Rattlers. The letter implored Jenny to give Pat's mother extra food, fearing she was slowly starving to death.[1] The letter never reached Jenny, however; instead Ellie acquired it when launching a raid on the Rattlers' compound.[2]
