Sometime before the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, Cheryl enrolled as a student at the University of Eastern Colorado. After the outbreak had reached the campus, Cheryl and the other students contained themselves in their dormitories to protect themselves against the infected. An unnamed student wrote in a journal that they had to confiscate Cheryl's stash of drugs as he disapproved of her using them given the current crisis the students were facing.[1]
