Jules is a character mentioned in The Last of Us Part II. He is a Washington Liberation Front (WLF) soldier.[1]
Biography[]
At some point after the outbreak of Cordyceps brain infection, Jules joined the WLF and fought as a soldier for them in their war against the Seraphites. Over time, Jules grew to dislike Isaac Dixon and the WLF, regularly talking with fellow soldier Gray about plans to leave SoundView Stadium where they were stationed and defect to the Seraphites and live on their island instead. The pair eventually agreed to do so and planned to leave the stadium together.[2]
However, on the day, Jules did not meet with Gray, the latter deciding to flee regardless. Gray wrote notes for his friend while moving through the city with Zachary, a Seraphite who agreed to transfer Gray to the island.[1] Gray left notes regularly throughout the city, leaving his last one for Jules in an arcade, hoping they eventually decided to defect like he had done.[3]

Ellie can come across the letters Gray left for Jules while hunting Abby Anderson in Seattle.[4][5]
