Brad resided in Lincoln, Massachusetts and was acquainted with Bob and a third unnamed man. At some point after the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak, the man wrote a note to Bob asking him to help Brad load his safe into his pickup truck. Brad's fate remains unknown as they never loaded up the safe and the truck still remained there as of 2033.[1]
Events of The Last of Us Part I[]
During the summer of 2033, Joel finds the note mentioning Brad caught in barbed wire. The safe, which remains unopened, can be unlocked by Joel with the code mentioned in the note.[2]
