Tuning Ball is one of Kum Haehyun's Special Attacks, first appearing in Guilty Gear Xrd -Revelator-.

Overview[]

Haehyun blows out a sphere that travels in a straight line. The Slash version takes the form of a small blue & black ball that travels relatively quick. The Heavy Slash has Haehyun charge and mould a bigger ball before releasing it - this time, colored orange and travels slower, but hits up to 3 times.

While it's still moving, the Tuning Ball can change its direction by holding Left or Right while it's still moving. The Slash version will last up to 3 seconds without hitting anything, while the Heavy Slash version lasts only 2 seconds.

The Overdrive version, Celestial Tuning Ball, creates an even bigger blue ball with intricate designs. Unlike the regular Tuning Ball, Celestial Tuning Ball can move in any direction for up to 4 seconds, and deal a maximum of 5 hits.

Trivia[]

  • The way Haehyun charges the Heavy Slash Tuning Ball is reminiscent of the way Dragon Ball's Yamcha charges his Spirit Ball technique, which can also move in any which direction.
