QV is one of Venom's Special Attacks, first appearing in Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign-.
Overview[]
Venom takes a low stance, then generates a red pool ball out of thin air, which hovers in place for 6 seconds upon being set. Each button sets the ball in a specific location:
sets the ball near Venom's forearm, which then travels down-and-back a short distance.
sets the ball in front of Venom, which then rises up a short distance.
sets the ball by Venom's front knee, which then travels-up-and-back a long distance.
sets the ball between Venom & the opponent, which then travels towards the opponent's middle.
Venom can summon one ball each at once. Said balls can be hit by Venom to attack his opponent.
Unlike Generate Ball, the set ball(s) can damage the opponent on contact, but only if they have been charged by at least 1 level by holding the button; additionally, if the opponent has been hit by a charged QV ball during its generation stage, said ball(s) stay on the stage until the allotted time has passed, or if Venom has struck them.
