Artemis Hunter, also known as Benten Gari, is one of Axl Low's Special Attacks, first appearing in the original Guilty Gear and last seen in Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2.
Overview[]
In Guilty Gear, Axl throws one of his sickles upwards. If it hits, the move can follow-up into itself until it misses or all three hits connect.
In X and XX, Axl goes into a low stance as he swiftly swings his sickles outwards in a circle; the version has him throw one of his sickles diagonally upwards, catching an airborne-launched opponent. EX Axl's
Benten Gari has him throw one of his sickles up diagonally without spinning it, and can also be repeated 2 more times.
Additionally, both regular & EX Axl's Benten Gari can be followed up by the below attacks:

Trivia[]
- Benten (弁天) is the Japanese goddess of arts and wisdom.
- Dummied-out code in Guilty Gear suggests that Benten Gari was originally meant to be Axl's charge attack, but it was scrapped at some point, presumably due to time constraints.
