Aqua & Restive Rolling (レスティブローリング, Resutibu Rōringu?) are one of May's Special Attacks, first appearing in the original Guilty Gear and last seen in Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus R with her EX form.

Overview[]

Aqua Rolling[]

There are 2 versions of Aqua Rolling: the regular version has May roll towards her opponent in a straight line - the anti-air version (DownDown LeftLeft + Slash in GGXX), dubbed Crescent Aqua Rolling in the original Guilty Gear, has May roll in an arc instead. If she connects with her opponent, May rolls away from her opponent.

Both versions could be charged in Guilty Gear by holding Respect instead of Slash. The level 1 version has May just use her anchor; the level 2 variant has a dolphin roll in lieu with her anchor, and the level 3 variant replaces the dolphin with a whale.

Aqua Rolling would only be exclusive to May in the original Guilty Gear, then only as EX May in the Guilty Gear XX series.

Restive Rolling[]

May holds onto her anchor while rolling diagonally upwards, bashing her opponent.

She can also use Hard to Port (方向転換, Hōkōtenkan?, lit. Change of direction), by inputting any direction and pressing Slash or Heavy Slash up to 3 times.
