Heavy Mob Cemetery is one of Sol Badguy's Overdrive Attacks, first appearing in Guilty Gear -Strive-, replacing his long-standing Dragon Install - which would be passed on to Ky Kiske in the same game.

Overview[]

Sol yanks off the Gear Cell Suppressor from his forehead, then rushes at the opponent while activating Dragon Install. If he collides with the opponent, he grabs them by their head and flies into the air before slamming them into the ground, setting off a massive eruption at the point of impact.

Despite having full invulnerability, immense damage, and being an untechable grab, the move is impractical - opponents can cancel the move if they hit Sol during the startup, Sol cannot use it during combos (unlike, for example, Jack-O' Valentine's Forever Elysion Driver), cannot use Heavy Mob Cemetery to Wall Break, and Sol cannot grab airborne opponents.

Trivia[]

  • Heavy Mob Cemetery has broken the 22-game streak (including updated versions) of Sol having Dragon Install as an Overdrive - the longest streak of any recurring move in Guilty Gear alone.
  • Heavy Mob Cemetery is also one of the only damaging Overdrives in -Strive- that does not cause a Wall Break.
