Down With The System is one of Goldlewis Dickinson's Overdrive Attacks, appearing in Guilty Gear -Strive-.

Overview[]

Goldlewis rears his arm, then thrusts his coffin diagonally for an uppercut-style strike. While his opponent is still airborne, Thunderbird mines fly up to intercept the opponent, detonating upon impact.

The amount of Thunderbird mines that fly up to attack the opponent depends on how many rotations the user makes on the control stick before activating the attack;

1 rotation - 1 Thunderbird.
2 rotations - 2 Thunderbirds.
3+ rotations - 3 Thunderbirds.

The attack's namesake comes from the song made by System of a Down's founder & lead vocalist, Serj Tanakian for the "Truth to Power" soundtrack; it is also the name of his upcoming memoir.
- Both the song & Goldlewis were released in 2021 - merely 31 days between each other (07/30 for Goldlewis, 08/31 for Down With The System).
