Follow-ups[]

After using a Spell, Asuka can follow up with:

Attack Input Description
GGST Chant

Chant

Right + Punch/Kick/Slash/Heavy Slash after using a Spell Asuka uses another of his currently equipped Spells.
Left + Punch/Kick/Slash/Heavy Slash after using a Spell Asuka removes one of his currently equipped Spells, or replenishes an empty one - doing the latter uses up 1 Bookmark stock from the currently equipped Test Case.

Recover Mana

Down + Punch/Kick/Slash after using a Spell Asuka refills his Mana meter while floating.

The Punch version is the slowest, but doesn't cost anything to use; the Kick version is quicker, but uses up Tension and the Slash version is the fastest, but uses up health. Can continually increase the Mana recovery by holding the button.

Down + Heavy Slash after using a Spell Asuka changes his Test Case - each of the 3 specialise in different styles of play: Punch (yellow) for projectiles, Kick (green) for mix-up Spells, and Slash (blue) for etc.
