Baku is one of Baiken's Overdrive Attacks and Force Breaks, first appearing in Guilty Gear X and last appearing in Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus R.

  • Ki (, Ki?, lit. Turtle)/Sakura (, Sakura?, lit. Cherry Blossom) can be performed by pressing Punch. Ki was first in the Guilty Gear X and XX series before being replaced by Sakura in Slash.

  • Tsuki (, Tsuki?, lit. Moon) can be performed by pressing Kick. Baiken takes out a hanafuda card, then pushes the opponent, making every hit Baiken does a Counter Hit for 14 seconds, indicated by the color yellow. First appears in XX Slash.
  • Ryuu (, Ryū?, lit. Dragon) can be performed pressing Slash. Baiken takes out a hanafuda card, then pushes the opponent, lowering their attack power for 14 seconds. Can only be used in the Guilty Gear X and XX series before Slash.
  • Tsuru (, Tsuru?, lit. Crane) can be performed pressing Slash. Baiken takes out a hanafuda card, then pushes the opponent, making Baiken's next attack unblockable for up to 14 seconds (or if Baiken is hit), indicated by the color cyan. First appears in XX Slash.
  • Hou (, ?, lit. Feng) can be performed by pressing Heavy Slash. Baiken takes out a hanafuda card, then pushes the opponent, lowering their defense for 14 seconds. Can only be used in the Guilty Gear X and XX series before Slash.

In the Accent Core games, it is instead turned into a Force Break with a new input, and Baiken instead performs a palm thrust (her standing Dust animation), imprinting the kanji of the move's name. Once performed, this can then be followed-up by the original Baku Overdrives also in the form of Force Break followups.

In XX Slash and the Accent Core games, Baiken is able to follow-up from Sakura, Tsuki & Tsuru by pressing any attack button;
