Task A is one of Bedman's Special Attacks, first appearing in Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign-.

Overview[]

Bedman's bed frame grabs its head with its rear appendage, then throws it at the opponent as a slowly spinning projectile, which then boomerangs back to it - on the ground, it travels straight forward, while it travels diagonally down if used in the air.

Task A also has an alternate version called Task A' (タスク Α ', Tasuku Ei Dasshu?, lit. Task A-dash), where if the bed's head connects with the opponent, Bedman will teleport directly in front of the opponent.

Should the projectile connect with the opponent, a marker will be placed where Bedman used Task A/A' for 7 seconds. Within that time, Bedman can use Deja Vu (デジャブ, Dejabu?) by inputting DownDown LeftLeft + Punch for Task A and DownDown LeftLeft + Kick for Task A' respectively, which can also be used in the air; the bed frame creates a 'replay' icon between its hands, which creates tv-static clone that replays the attack where Task A/A' was first used, and can be done as many times as the icon's active time allows.
