Fuujin, also stylized as Fujin, is one of Anji Mito's Special Attacks, first appearing in Guilty Gear X and has been a staple part of his movelist throughout the series.

Overview[]

Anji steps forward to smack his opponent with his fans with flair, surrounded by wind-like energy. This attack can be followed up with the moves listed below:

Attack Input Description
GGST Shin Ichishiki

Shin: Ichishiki (針・壱式, Shin: Ichishiki?, lit. Needle: Method One)

Punch after Fuujin Anji jumps high and throws four fans diagonally down from above.
GGST Issokutobi

Issokutobi (一足飛び, Issokutobi?, lit. One-Legged Jump)

Kick after Fuujin Anji hops forwards a distance. Can be used to traverse through opponents.

Introduced in Guilty Gear XX.

GGST Nagiha

Nagiha (凪刃, Nagiha?, lit. Calm Edge)

Slash after Fuujin Anji sweeps his opponent's legs with one of his fans.
GGST Rin

Rin (, Rin?, lit. Confront)

Heavy Slash or Dust* after Fuujin A slow overhead-waving fan slam as he turns. Introduced first in XX Slash.

*The move also has a Force Break version available as of Λ Core by pressing Dust instead of Heavy Slash. The FB version is an important combo filler as it ground bounces and leads into Heavy Slash Fuujin for further follow-ups.

GGXX Kai Ichishiki

Kai: Ichishiki (戒・壱式, Kai: Ichishiki?, lit. Precept: Method One)

Punch after Fuujin (as EX Anji) Anji leaps forward to stomp his feet on top of the opponent.
GGX Shin Nishiki

Shin: Nishiki (針・弐式, Shin: Nishiki?, lit. Needle: Method Two)

Kick after Fuujin Anji jumps and thrusts his palms diagonally down, creating a ball of energy between his hands. He can also use it as a standalone attack, but only in the air.

Only available in Guilty Gear X.
