Alpha Blade is one of Chipp Zanuff's Special Attacks, first appearing in the original Guilty Gear and has been a staple of his move set since.
Overview[]
Chipp ducks low and rushes forward, slashing his opponent's shins as he travels through them. In Guilty Gear -Strive-, Chipp gains a diagonal version by inputting +
. The ground version goes diagonally upwards, while the aerial version goes diagonally downwards.
In Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus R in his EX form, Chipp can transition into his other "Blade" series attacks (Beta & Gamma Blade) once each.

Additionally, in his regular form beyond Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus R, he can follow up with Alpha Plus by inputting after Alpha Blade connects, where Chipp does a reverse jab with his gauntlet blade that knocks the opponent back.
