Scarecrow, originally known as From Above is one of Faust's Special Attacks, first appearing in Guilty Gear X and has been a staple of his moveset since.

Overview[]

Faust disappears under a cloth, then re-emerges close to the opponent and attacks.

In Guilty Gear -Strive-, Faust changes from using a cloth & doors to creating a pair of scarecrows in his likeness - one either side of his opponent.

GGXrd From The Front

From the Front (前からいきますよ, Mae kara ikimasu yo?, lit. I'm coming in from the front)

DownDown LeftLeft + Punch Between Guilty Gear X & Rev 2, Faust disappears under a medical cloth, then reappears through a door of his own creation in front of his opponent that seems to lead into space.

In Guilty Gear -Strive-, Faust reappears from the scarecrow in front of the opponent.

GGXrd From Behind

From Behind (後からいきますよ, Ashi kara ikimasu yo?, lit. I'm coming in from the back)

DownDown LeftLeft + Kick Between Guilty Gear X & Rev 2, Faust disappears under a medical cloth, then reappears through a door of his own creation behind his opponent that seems to lead into space.

In Guilty Gear -Strive-, Faust reappears from the scarecrow behind the opponent.

From Above (上からいきますよ, Uwa kara ikimasu yo?, lit. I'm coming in from above)

DownDown LeftLeft + Slash Between Guilty Gear X & Rev 2, Faust disappears under a medical cloth, then reappears at the top of the screen to perform a diving attack.

In Guilty Gear -Strive-, both scarecrows appear, then the camera pans upwards as Faust dives at the opponent from above.
