Charge is one of Order-Sol's Special Attacks, first appearing in Guilty Gear XX Slash.
Overview[]
Sol puffs his chest out, which charges his unique Charge meter, based directly on the original Charge mechanic from the very first Guilty Gear title.
Just like the said Charge mechanic, having at least 1 Charge stock alters the properties of his Special Attacks & Overdrives:
- Block Head Buster
- Gun Blaze
- Storm Viper
- Bandit Revolver Prototype
- Rock It
- Savage Fang
- Tyrant Rave ver.Omega

Action Charge (アクションチャージ, Akushon Chāji?)
Additionally, Order-Sol's Dragon Install: Morbid World requires a full Charge gauge, as well as 50% Tension.

Charge Burst (チャージバースト, Chāji Bāsuto?)
Charge can be stocked up to 3 levels. Once one of the above attacks has been used with a Charge stock, it goes down by one (or in Accent Core, gradually drains at a fast rate).
Sol can also follow up with Action Charge after using any of the above Special Attacks by simply pressing where he'll perform a Psych Burst-esque aura burst that halts his momentum completely (even in midair) - however, this version will never go past level 2, given that using a Charged Special Attack automatically uses a Charge stock.
During the regular version, Sol can use Charge Burst by pressing , blasting the opponent away and cancelling his charge safely, but is punishable on block with minor damage inflicted even then.

Trivia[]
- Order-Sol's Charge mechanic harkens back to the original Guilty Gear mechanic as aforementioned, where characters' certain Special Attacks could be charged by holding
instead of their respective button (with the exceptions of Axl Low, Testament & Justice). These would be:
- Sol Badguy's Volcanic Viper. This changes to be his Dragon Install-version
Volcanic Viper.
- Ky Kiske's Stun Edge. This becomes its own attack in the form of Stun Edge Charge Attack.
- May's Mr. Dolphin.
- Chipp Zanuff's Beta Blade.
- Potemkin's Graviton Stamp.
- Zato-ONE's Invite Hell.
- Dr. Baldhead's Hack 'n' Slash.
- Millia Rage's Living Lancer.
- Kliff Undersn's Bellowing Roar. This then becomes one of his first initial Overdrives in the form of Bellowing Roar/Houkou Gaeshi Charge Attack, being eventually replaced by Reflex Roar but also reprised in the form of a Force Break.
- Baiken's Tatami Gaeshi. The Level 3 version would become a standard special move for EX Baiken in the XX games, while Accent Core Plus R allows normal Baiken to perform it as a Force Break.
- Sol Badguy's Volcanic Viper. This changes to be his Dragon Install-version
