The white-hot Pokémon Reshiram is one of Pokémon Go’s many Legendary raid targets. Our Pokémon Go Reshiram raid guide has Reshiram’s best moveset, counters, and weaknesses.

Reshiram best counters and weaknesses

The fire- and dragon-type Pokémon is powerful, and is only weak against three types: ground, rock, and dragon. Use any of these Reshiram best counters and weaknesses to take it down:

  • Rayquaza with Dragon Tail and Outrage
  • Salamence with Dragon Tail and Outrage/Draco Meteor
  • Rampardos with Smack Down and Rock Slide
  • Terrakion with Smack Down and Rock Slide

Mega Evolved Pokémon like Mega Altaria and Mega Charizard X will also be useful if you have the resources for them.

Take advantage of the weather to boost your moves as well. Partly cloudy weather boosts rock-type moves, windy weather boosts dragon-type moves, and sunny or clear weather boosts ground-type moves.

Reshiram best movesets

Once you get a Reshiram, hook it up with Fire Fang and Overheat to make it one of the best fire-type attackers in the game for PvE content. It’s still a strong dragon-type attacker, but if you have a Rayquaza, Salamence, Palkia, or Dialga, you’re fine to use them instead.
