The Bomb Scarab is an enemy native to the Desert of Beginnings. They attack the player with a high-speed charge, traveling over empty space and liquids.
Upon losing 50% of their health, Bomb Scarabs will drop to the ground and explode shortly after, dealing considerable damage and dropping no loot. The explosion breaks small objects and deals 998 mining damage to walls.
A sandy whirlwind event may appear on occasion in the Desert, spawning up to 5 Bomb Scarabs nearby after a few seconds.
Spawning[]
Bomb Scarabs rarely spawn on Desert Block ground in the Desert of Beginnings.

- The glowing red eyes are a way to spot them from a distance.
