Tips[]

  • After throwing a spear, Caveling Skirmishers have a cooldown of approximately 3 seconds before they can throw another. Use this window to deal as much damage as possible.
  • It is dangerous to get close to a Caveling Skirmisher while in combat, as their thrown spears can deal dangerous amounts of damage up close earlygame, even to players wearing Bronze armor. As such, it is best to use a range weapon, such as a Slingshot.
  • You can reduce Caveling Skirmisher spawns by removing any Clay Moss that you come across, making it easier to traverse the Clay Caves.

History[]

  • 0.6.1.0-7a5d: No longer quickly sidestep from side to side if they temporarily lose line of sight to their target.
  • 0.5.0.0-9b96: Introduced.
