Sophie Bould (born 1982) is an British actress. She portrayed Miss Talbot on Netflix's Sex Education.

Biography[]

Bould was born in Shropshire, London, England. Bould trained at the National Youth Theatre prior to her three year degree course at Mountview Theatre School. Following graduation Sophie played the lead role of Cinderella in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical of the same name at Bristol Old Vic, leading to subsequent roles at London's Regent's Park Theatre including Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Lady Mortimer in Henry IV Part 1. Sophie's stage work continued with parts at the National Theatre, a season at Chichester Festival Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse, UK national tours and originating the role of Liesl in The Sound of Music revival at the London Palladium. She also appeared in a short film directed by Chris Blaine - The Street Lights Project for British Vogue.
