James' last words is a paper note in Fallout 76, introduced in the Skyline Valley update.
Location[]
Can be found on the corpse of James, who is located on a trail slightly southwest of Thunder Mountain substation TM-03 (due north from the three-way road intersection leading to Dark Hollow Manor).

I was done in by some blue Ghoul bastards that coming
from the manor. They did me in good, barely got away.
I have no supplies so my time is short...
Whoever finds this, if you ever come across a woman named Jewel in a caravaner group up north, please let her know her James is sorry for being so stubborn, and he did try to make up north after her, but in the end could not make it.
Tell her I want her to move on and be happy.

Behind the scenes[]
In the first version of the Public Test Server for Skyline Valley, the name "Marco" was present in this note instead of Murry; the same was true of Wesley's note. This was Murry's previous name before being changed at some point in development.
