With their oddly shaped gas masks and over-sized packs, goblins are one of the most easily recognizable beast tribes in Eorzea. For generations, commerce between the city-states and goblins was commonplace, making up an important facet to the economy, until one day, the whole tribe simply up and left, abandoning their cities and leaving no indication of where they were going or when they would return. Now, several decades later, the quirky beast tribe of crafters and gatherers has begun its migration back into Eorzea, but are the five races ready for them?

Lodestone description

Goblins are a spoken tribe found around the realm Eorzea in Final Fantasy XIV, in the world of Hydaelyn. Short in stature and humanoid in shape, goblins are known for wearing face obscuring masks and carrying around enormous backpacks. In the first they are known as hobgoblins and in Tural they are known as Moblins.

Profile[]

Goblins are one of the most amicable tribes in Eorzea, known for their peddling, calling others "uplanders", and adopting the common parlance of the realm over their own language. Many among the goblins are disciples of the land and hand. They often trade their wares across the city states of Aldenard and beyond.

Illuminati[]

A member of this group, Mutamix Bubblypots eventually defected to share their knowledge of the creation of materia with the world.

Gameplay[]

Various goblins and hobgoblins serve as enemies or friendly NPCs throughout the game.

The Wind-up goblin is a minion the player can acquire by using the Wind-up Goblin Wind-up Goblin item.

Behind the scenes[]
