Gunnhildr's Blades are an elite group within the Bozjan Resistance. Considered some of the finest in their respective crafts, they were chosen to wield the newly-crafted Resistance Weapons forged in the image of the original Blades of Gunnhildr, which were lost in the Bozja Incident.
History[]
Seeking new weapons to aid the Resistance, Misija Votyasch suggested reforging the legendary Blades of Gunnhildr. Bajsaljen Ulgasch hires Gerolt Blackthorn to craft the weapons, and with the aid of Cid nan Garlond and Mikoto Jinba he is able to do so. The new weapons are given to members of the Resistance, who call themselves Gunnhildr's Blades after the personal guard of the legendary Queen Gunnhildr and original wielders of the weapons Gerolt recreated.
Together with the Warrior of Light, Gunnhildr's Blades helped the Resistance push the IVth Imperial Legion back across the Bozjan Southern Front and into Castrum Lacus Litore. There, however, Misija turned traitor and used the auracite sword Save the Queen to summon Queen Gunnhildr as a Primal, using its power to temper most of Gunnhildr's Blades and force them to serve her.
After the Resistance retreated, Misija brought the tempered Blades into the ruins of Delubrum Reginae, where she used the Save the Queen to twist them into powerful monsters to defend against intrusion.
