Darth Vader's armor was lit aflame after his death.
Fire was a process in which a substance (a gas, for example), reacted with oxygen in the environment[2] to give heat, light, and other reaction products like smoke.[3] The Jedi used fire for ceremonial purposes; Qui-Gon Jinn was cremated during his funeral on Naboo,[4] as was the armor of Darth Vader during his funeral on Endor.[5] Vader had previously been burned alive by fire on the lava rivers of Mustafar.[6] Clone flame troopers used flamethrowers against Geonosians during the Second Battle of Geonosis.[7] First Order Flametroopers used D-93 Incinerator flamethrowers to burn the village of Tuanul.[8]
