Development[]
On September 14, 2022, writer Ethan Sacks tweeted that he was currently writing the script for the issue.[4] Sacks discovered not much pre-existing lore existed for the planet Gand and thus was able to, in his own words, leave his own thumbprint behind on the Star Wars galaxy via issue 32.[5]
Continuity[]
On the second page, the Raider II-class corvette Corvus is depicted in its modified New Republic version, when at the start of Star Wars Battlefront II, which takes place after this issue, the Corvus is depicted in its Imperial version.[6]
