Star Wars 44 is the forty-fourth issue of the 2020 canon comic book series Star Wars. The issue was written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Madibek Musabekov and Rachelle Rosenberg, and published by Marvel Comics on March 6, 2024.

THE TRIAL OF LANDO CALRISSIAN! After the events of DARK DROIDS, LANDO is at a crossroads. Saving his friend LOBOT has cost him more than he expected as now ADMIRAL ACKBAR and MON MOTHMA are putting Lando on trial. Plot summary[]

THE TRIAL OF LANDO CALRISSIAN, PART 1:
THE OPENING ARGUMENTS
After Lobot's neural implants began to fail him,
Lando took his unwell friend to Jabba the Hutt's
palace, where the Talky droid who once helped
them resides.

In order to assure the droid's cooperation in
helping his friend, Lando was forced to reveal to
his fellow rebels every painful detail of his
dealings with Jabba the Hutt, including selling
sensitive secrets of the Rebel Alliance.

Lobot was saved, but now Lando has to face the
consequences of his actions….
