Plot summary[]

A human women named Fionn Tucat leads an expedition to the moon of Lupal. The expedition members included, a women named Romina Foss; a one-eyed Lasat called Borzul; a Togruta named Cavrolo Sys and a Shistavanen named Kordus Vrak. As well as two excavation droids designated HCT-10 and RF-U5. Lupal was said to have been a paradise where a great civilization flourished until the dying star it orbited cracked its pure kyber core, causing vast solar flares and radiation. The red flares were said to twist people's minds but this did not dissuade Tucat's expedition.

However as they setup camp it seemed the eerie light did indeed seem to effect all their moods. But normally gentle and calm Vrak seems to be effected by it more intensely. A minor disagreement about who was going to take first watch resulted in a fight between Borzul and Vrak. Eventually Sys and Tucat were able to settling things down and the team called it a night. However come morning there were signs of a struggle, Borzul was missing and his blaster was discarded on the ground. The next evening Borzul was still missing and the crimson flares were continuing to intensify. Vrak became transfixed on the light and in a rage began to attack the team. HCT-10 and Sys first succumb to the beat that Vrak had become. Foss and Tucat fled into the ruins from their former friend, but Vrak fell upon Tucat. As Foss ran towards the safety of their ship, Borzul returned, slamming into Vrak. Foss powered up the ship as Borzul and Vrak fought. Borzul came out on top and made it to the ship before it took off.

As the ship left the moon, Borzul looked towards Foss with his lips drawn back in a feral snarl...
