Black Siren was an alternate version of Laurel Lance/Black Canary from Earth-2 in the Arrowverse. Originally a criminal ally of Zoom and Prometheus, she later became a lawyer and vigilante in Star City as the new Black Canary on Earth-1.
In the regular DC Universe there is also a character named Black Siren, who is a doppelganger of Black Canary from Earth 3 and a member of the Suicide Squad. The name Black Siren and its connection to Black Canary was originally used for Donna Nance, a founding member of the Justice Guild of America in an alternate Earth on the DCAU. The character herself was based on the Golden Age Black Canary.
Black Siren was created by Andrew Kreisberg, first appearing in the Justice League episode, Legends, Part I (2002). Her first appearance in the DC Comics main continuity was in Crime Syndicate #2, by Andy Schmidt (2021).
