Branch was a member of the Suicide Squad.
History
He was involved in an experiment that physically changed him and allowed him to communicate with plants. Not a criminal, he ended up in Belle Reve and on the Suicide Squad anyway.[1] He didn't last long and was quickly killed by Ultraman.[2]
