I love how it is possible to develop something on LocalWP and just push it right into WP Engine and hoppa!! you are online and ready. Also, I like having three sites, the development, staging and production. Finally, the support is outside of this world!

The dashboard for managing our websites is very intuitive and well laid out. Everything works as expected. The phenomenal part of working with WP Engine is their support. 24 hours a day, and no matter what time you reach out to them, they are available and help you with everything you need to include customized advice for your site, and providing support articles to enhance your understanding. We have been with WP Engine for probably 7 years and will be with them forever.

We were looking for a new provider and asked for initial call. We've been offered a month trial, after which we decided WPEngine can't give us what we needed, so we kindly asked to cancel trial. We've been offered another month of trial and multiple emails and calls even after we said we want to cancel.
Also we never installed the website on the server or used their services and now I received few months worth of billing for over $3k.

They maintain strong backups and good performance. Really great hosting.

We've been using WP Engine for nearly 6 years and never had a single problem with them. Our websites receive millions of traffic every year and we've never had a downtime or issues like that. Most importantly, the customer service team is always helpful, available 24/7, and quick to fix any issues or guide you in the right direction. They are on the expensive side but it's a good investment if you can afford them.

I love having the chat capabilities. There has been more than one occasion where the help desk has been able to walk me through some crazy stuff that I never would have figured out on my own. The help desk folks are kind, helpful and willing to do whatever it takes to fix the issue... seriously...they're amazing.

Support Staff like James E. make WPengine worth working with. I sometimes think they have gotten a little big for my tastes as they buy up all the plugins we all love and have pay walled some previously free features, but when you have the quality diagnostic support when you have an issue that piece of mind is worth a few extra dollars a month without any arguments.

BEST SUPPORT IN THE INDUSTRY! Hands down. WP Engine has the BEST customer support in the industry. When I moved my clients over from Godaddy a number of years ago, it was like going from driving an old VW Beetle to driving a Lamborghini using WP Engine and their amazing customer support. The premium hosting packages are worth every penny you pay for the level of support they offer. In many aspects I am able to continue to work on my projects while they help with redirects. This helps me provide exceptional services to my law clients.

MJ was fantastic and was able to figure out something that nobody else could see, with an old cdn url interfering and took care of deleting it, so hopefully it could prevent the issue from happening again. My rep took the time to explain everything to me so I could fully understand what was happening and even pointed out some outdated areas in our current theme to be aware of, things that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise to look at. I love WP Engine support! You guys rock!!

I have been with WP Engine for over a year now and I cannot express how pleased I am with the company in both service and support. They are incredibly helpful whenever I have questions or issues, 24/7. I have used other hosting companies in the past and none of them come close to WP Engine. The tools and dashboard are super easy to use, the migration tool makes bringing a website over very simple and again support is there for any needs along the way. If you are looking for hosting, stop and go with WP Engine.

I deal with a lot of companies for a lot of services and my experience with the support team at WP Engine is easily at the top. I'm not really technical and every time I get painted into a corner, the patient and kind people at WP Engine help me resolve my issue quickly. I'm a WordPress user - not a developer and certainly not an engineer. This is the only place I would host a WordPress site.

Leo was super helpful and saved me hours of work just by being informed about his craft and understanding my request. He was able to do a find and replace on a website migration and update all links that were pointing to the wrong version of the site. Literally hundreds of links updated in moments. Effing LOVE these guys. I tried to write the real word but this idiotic, politically-correct app stole the opportunity to accurately describe how much I appreciate WPEngine. If you do WP through anyone else, you're selling yourself short. Thank you WPEngine for being so awesome.

Would not recommend.
After almost 3 years on a dedicated server, I must say the service started well, but following increasingly less tech support and long wait times and also online chat support just not working it was time for us to leave our rolling contract.
There is only the option to click a button on the dashboard to 'request cancellation'
The cancellation process is currently a problem, no contact from anyone, try to talk to someone on the phone and don't get any calls back, just 'we'll pass this onto the billing team'
Meanwhile we're a month since submitting the cancellation and no one from WPengine will confirm the cancellation, instead they will keep taking the money and ignore the cancellation.
Avoid starting with them at all costs.

Been on a chat for more than 40 minutes, but the unhelpful guy just don't want to help. He didn't even know how his own system works. Even I know more than him. Total clown and illiterate. I am going to ask my company to move to another hosting.

I moved changed dreamhost to wp engine and before the transfer it performed at 83 on google page insights, now its a 100. This truly shows how good of a service they do. On top of this wp engine support is 24/7 and its excellent in their responses.

Had an excellent experience with their Tech Support (Zac B.). Was an emergency situation and had to learn how to update a page on our site and I'm not a developer. Patiently showed me the steps, sent a video, and walked me through some other minor issues. This is my first customer service interaction and it was great!!!
