Mrs. Ames was Ella Ames mother. She and her family lived in a bunker after the Great War. A fellow member, Charlie Walker, later begun to leave notes after taking items from the bunker, prompting Mrs. Ames to demand Walker not to leave any more I.O.U.s ("I Owe You") all over the bunker.[1]
