How to Play with Friends
Raid some of the most complex player-made maps and improve your Sanctuary together when you play Meet Your Maker with friends. There are some key details to making sure you and your friends can get raiding together.
Cross-Content Not Crossplay
The first step to ensuring you and your friends can play Meet Your Maker together is ensuring you're all playing on the same system. While the game is out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Series X, and PC and you can raid outposts made by players on other consoles, it is not crossplay compatible so you cannot play with someone on a different system.
Co-op
If you're playing on the same system, once the tutorial is complete, you will see an option in the top right corner of the screen that says Invite Friends. This will open your friend’s list and you will be able to choose an online friend to invite. Once they accept the invite, they will join your party and the game will give you a few co-op tutorials. Meet Your Maker is limited to a max of two players so only one friend can be invited at a time.
Raids
The biggest difference you will notice when doing a co-op raid is the revive ability so you don't have to start at the beginning again if you and your friend don't both get killed at the same time. To complete a raid you must both have collected the GenMat to take back.
Building
You can also choose to build an outpost together, collaborating on the best trap and guard placement for your land. Once you've built it you can test play it together as well.
