"Momentary Life" is Baiken's classic theme, which first appeared in the original Guilty Gear, and which was later revised for Guilty Gear X, Guilty Gear XX and all their update titles. Only in Korean version of ♯Reload it doesn't appear, as it is replaced by the track "Ricochet".

Guilty Gear XX in L.A Vocal Edition

[*]We're Coming for you, yeah!!
Don't close your eyes

[**]Kill thru the fields
Run all the Worlds
It will slice and burn you.

Came into life
Thru the black pit of night
Slice the hands that feed you.

Now you will dream
The darkest of dreams
I can hear you screaming!

Just before warned
This love that dictates

It's Demon Wars!

[***]Our Soldiers will lead you into the free fall!
Yeah-
Then when you realize the size and the prize!
PRAY OR PLAY!
Coming for you Anticipation
It's DEMON WAR!!!
Coming for you don't close an eye
It's a DEMON WAR!!!

(We're coming for you don't close your eyes)

[** Repeat.]
[*** Repeat.]
[* Repeat.]
[*** Repeat.]

You can't escape the love you have for the
Screams.

Trivia[]

  • A fusion of traditional Japanese gagaku and thrash metal sound, the theme opens with a koto chord. It kicks into high gear with a build-up into drums, and yells loud with a blast of electric lead guitar. Perhaps one of its best known features is the use of a shakuhachi flute in its chorus.
  • "Momentary Life" seems to have been inspired by the song "大和 Yamato Part4" by the Japanese band Musashi.
