"Holy Orders (Be Just or Be Dead)" is Ky Kiske's classic theme. Composed by Daisuke Ishiwatari, it first appeared in Guilty Gear. It received two major revisions: the first for Guilty Gear X and XX, and another for Guilty Gear 2 -Overture-, although it wasn't officially renamed in any of the soundtracks (unlike Sol's "Keep Yourself Alive").
Robo-Ky has his own version of this theme called "Holy Orders?", which is a modulated arrangement that consists of minors and dissonances.

- Its name probably originates from Iron Maiden's song "Be Quick or Be Dead".
- "Holy Orders" is the most popular, most covered theme in the series and has the most number of versions. In the website for the Guilty Gear x BlazBlue Music Live 2011, "Holy Orders III" won the first place in the GG category,[5] and around 2016, the XX version won yet again in a series-wide popularity poll.[6]
- In Guilty Gear Xrd, if Ky is knocked down during his opponent's match point, his hair will become loose and the Overture version of "Holy Orders" will begin to play.
- Part of the melody plays during Ky's Strive theme, "The Roar of the Spark".
