Earl was a member of the Blood Eagles at Crimson Prospect in Appalachia.
Background[]
Earl co-led the Crimson Prospect outpost along with "watch master" Floyd. The two were often at odds, and got into a disagreement following a particular raid when Floyd took the first pick of the loot and claimed a chair that Earl meant to use as a footrest, angered at the thought that Earl simply sat around all day picking the best fruits of his labor while Floyd had back pain sleeping in his bed at night.[1] He eventually decided that the only way to settle the argument was to kill Floyd, enlisting Randy's help to do so. He suggested that Randy lure Floyd out into a field on a fake raid and let him get killed by something roaming the Cranberry Bog. In closing, he told Randy that he didn't want to have to go looking for someone else to help, and that it was either he or Floyd that would bear the brunt of his frustration.[2]
