Ally: Mission Out-of-Control is an ally quest for Sofia Daguerre in the Fallout 76 update Wastelanders. It is the final quest of Sofia's main storyline, with the initial objective of destroying A.T.H.E.N.A.
Walkthrough[]
Go to Sugar Grove and access the data center, located past the mainframe room that the key to the back of the building is found in. Use the U.S.S.A. access keycard to open the door. Talk with A.T.H.E.N.A. before Emerson and Sofia arrive. Either upload A.T.H.E.N.A. to Artemis or destroy her. After doing so, talk to Sofia and Emerson, and then return to the player character's C.A.M.P. to speak with Sofia once more to complete the quest and receive The V.A.T.S. Unknown, a unique alien blaster. If not already unlocked, this unlocks the Wish upon a Star achievement.
If choosing to transfer A.T.H.E.N.A. to Artemis, A.T.H.E.N.A. then becomes a wandering vendor who occasionally visits the player's CAMP and offers rare items for sale. However, in order to transfer A.T.H.E.N.A. to Artemis, the player must have Luck 15+ and chose the "Green Sunrise" option. Otherwise, this option will not be offered to the player, and the only option available will be to destroy A.T.H.E.N.A. with the Arachne program.
Both options cure Sophia of her headaches and nightmares.
